North Circular – A Musical Trip Through Inner City Dublin
The Brisbane Irish Festival supported by The Queensland Irish Association is proud to present – North Circular – A Musical Trip Through Inner City Dublin.
A multiple award-winning documentary musical travelling the length of Dublin’s fabled North Circular Road, where local characters share their powerful and emotive stories, accompanied by traditional ballads and folk music that help to tell these stories. North Circular conjures the ghosts of the past while engaging with the conflicts and celebrations of today, with a little bit of Dublin humour thrown in.
The Brisbane Irish Festival is a long-standing not-for-profit, volunteer organisation that promotes and celebrates the occasion of St Patrick’s Day, Irish Australian culture and its contribution to the state of Queensland. The St Patrick’s Day Parade is a free event that has been held amidst the streets of Brisbane city for the past 31 years.
All proceeds from the screening will go towards the cost running of the parade and maintaining its long-term viability as an annual free for the community.
