2025 sponsorship applications are now open
Support the Brisbane St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Brisbane Irish Festival
Through a range of attractive sponsorship opportunities, the St Patrick’s Day Parade Association invites you to be involved in the 2025 Parade and the Brisbane Irish Festival.
The Festival is a period of 10-14 days when many Australian-Irish groups celebrate everything great about our culture. Anchored around the Parade, the Festival comprises a concert, dinner, sports day, charity ball, mass in the cathedral….and potentially more. (See below for more detail.)
Corporate sponsors are provided with the opportunity to achieve outstanding business exposure through involvement with both the Parade and the Festival. The Parade has a history of great television and radio coverage*, as well as the more than 10,000 people who line the streets, and the thousands who get a copy of the Festival program – both hard copy and on-line.
Our audience covers the complete gamut of the population: political, corporate and community leaders to the person in the street, the young and the old, the local and the visitor, those with Irish heritage and those who are happy to just join a party!
We have three sponsorship levels available. If you are interested in finding out more, please send us an expression of interest and we’ll be in touch shortly. The Association is a not-for-profit organisation, and all proceeds contribute to the running costs of the parade and help ensure its continuation into the future.
Thank you for your consideration.Â

The Brisbane Irish Festival is a celebration of the Irish culture and it’s people in and around Brisbane. With music, dance, poetry and festivities, we paint the town green and share the celebration in and around Brisbane every year.
The week-long Brisbane Irish Festival will begin, as is tradition, with the Brisbane Irish Festival Ball. This event is hosted in aid of the Irish Australian Support Association Queensland (IASAQ).
For marketing and promotional purposes, the St Patrick’s Day Parade and any events celebrating Australian Irish culture in a positive way are incorporated into the Brisbane Irish Festival. The St Patrick’s Day Parade Association Inc is responsible for the operational costs, relevant logistics and sponsorship for the St Patrick’s Day Parade. The St Patrick’s Day Parade Association Incorporated is a Not for Profit Organisation run by volunteers.
- Media exposure and significant marketing opportunities with logos and public acknowledgment of all support to be made where applicable throughout the event.
- Enhancement of your corporate image, through the association of your company with a free community event of cultural importance.
- Promotion of your business through the Brisbane Irish Festival program, the Festival website, associated social marketing websites, and all promotional material such as press releases.
- The opportunity to support a family-friendly event that is of vast importance to the community of Brisbane,
as well as a major event on the cultural events calendar. - The opportunity to promote your brand, product and services via product placement/giveaways/parade-specific offers.
There is an abundance of economic, social, and environmental benefits to the successful staging of the St Patrick’s Day Parade.
Due to the large number of spectators that are drawn from across the State into Brisbane’s CBD to enjoy the event, significant financial and economic benefits are expected. Largely these relate to the increased sales of food and beverages that are expected for Brisbane’s inner city hotels, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues following the 2024 parade on Saturday, March 16, 2024, and during the festival week.
As a large-scale cultural community event, the St Patrick’s Day Parade also makes a contribution to the Brisbane tourism industry. An opportunity for inter-state or overseas visitors to involve themselves in community events, the St Patrick’s Day Parade welcomes guests from out of town to join in with Brisbane residents in a celebration of one of the largest migrant groups in the country.
The proposed 2025 Brisbane Irish Festival is to be modelled on the 2023 event.
The week-long Brisbane Irish Festival will begin, as is tradition, with the Brisbane Irish Festival Ball. This event is hosted in aid of the Irish Australian Support Association Queensland (IASAQ).
Objectives And Milestones
- The required objectives and milestones for the corporate sponsorship initiative are as follows:

- The promotion of Irish culture, heritage and achievements.
- Recognition of the Irish community’s contribution to the development of Queensland.
- A high level of positive Brisbane and metropolitan media exposure.
Communications and Marketing Plan
PR and marketing activities for the St Patrick’s Day Parade 2024 will be arranged by the St Patrick’s Day Parade Association Inc. The intended marketing structure of the Brisbane Irish Festival is expected to follow a similar structure to the previous year’s events, with publicity and promotion in media that include the festival website, Social Media, The Courier Mail, City News, Irish Queenslander, Brisbane Marketing (Brisbane City Council), Radio 4EB, Radio 4KQ and contacting local and national media.
2023 will also see the festival benefit from an updated website, larger social media presence, and social media campaigns.
